International Women’s Day
Wednesday 8th March was International Women’s Day. As part of the recognition of the day, the FA encouraged girls all over England to take part in #LetGirlsPlay. The aim was to get as many girls as possible to join in the biggest ever football session.
We are always up for a challenge here at Dearham and 40 of our girls from Years 4, 5 and 6 took part in this challenge.
It was such a success it was decided we would make it a weekly event, so every Wednesday from now on is girls’ football at first break.
