Exams and Key Stage Results

About the results

Children in Year 6 sit statutory tests (SATs) in maths, reading and grammar, punctuation and spelling (SPaG) in May. The children’s results indicate whether a child is working at the expected standard for Year 6; whether they are working below; or whether at greater depth (beyond the expected standard).

Progress Scores

Progress scores are calculated based on the progress the children make from the end of Key Stage 1 to the end of Key Stage 2.

Key Stage 2 2019 Headline Measures
