Year 5 have enjoyed a wonderful day at Brockhole on Windemere. We went on a geography detective trail, to research the impact that tourism has on national parks. In particular the Lake District National Park. ⛰️🗺🌄
Well done year 5, great geography field work! We finished off the day with a picnic in the sun and a long play on the park. Our Children's good manners were complimented by staff and other visitors. A brilliant day ❤️

Today year 5 enjoyed a visit from Lisa the Paramedic, who brought her ambulance with her to talk to us about medical emergencies. We have been talking about safety during PSHE and this helped us lots. We were very proud of all of year 5 who were sensible and knowledgeable about how to help and reassure people in an emergency. We may even have a few future paramedics on our hands, as some people in the class said they were inspired by Lisa's visit.
Well done year 5 and thanks to Lisa from North West ambulance service for your time, effort (and sweet treats). 🚑 ❤️
